Description:
The Agarose Gel Purification Kit is designed for the rapid purification of DNA fragments from agarose gel. The Kit is an innovative system that radically simplifies extraction and purification of nucleic acids from a variety of sources. Key to the system is the new silica matrix that specifically, but reversibly, binds DNA under certain optimal conditions, allowing proteins and other contaminants to be removed. Nucleic acids are easily eluted with Elution Buffer provided. The Kit can recover DNA bands 50bp-40kb from all grades of agarose gel in yields exceeding 85% and each silica column has a total binding capacity of up to 35μg of DNA. The eluted DNA product is suitable for ligation, PCR, sequencing, restriction digestion, or various labeling reactions.
